Third Doha Talks: Western Countries’ Dissatisfaction with Composition and Agenda
Among them, the United States and Britain oppose the composition and agenda of the third round of the Doha talks. Members of this group are dissatisfied with Razaaq Otoonbayeva’s performance as head of UNAMA in Afghanistan. The G7 countries have called on the United Nations to include Afghan women and civil society members in the Doha talks and protest their absence in future sessions. Additionally, some diplomats have stated that Canada and France have a stronger stance on this matter.
