Expansion of Jihadist Schools by Taliban: Plans for Radicalization and Strengthening the Emirate
After seizing power in Afghanistan, the Taliban have engaged extensively in education and indoctrination efforts, establishing jihadist schools at various levels. These schools impart military and ideological training to young students, aiming to promote radical and extremist ideologies. Additionally, the Taliban control media channels and distribute their own publications to propagate their propaganda and jihadist agendas within Afghan society and the region.
Given that these educational and propaganda initiatives constitute serious efforts to strengthen the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, neighboring countries and regional powers, especially China, Central Asian countries, Iran, and Pakistan, need to take this issue seriously. These operations could have wide-ranging implications for regional security and stability, bolstering the Taliban’s ambitions to expand the Islamic Emirate into neighboring countries. Ignoring these developments could lead to significant costs for countries and the broader region.
