Political opponents of the Taliban plan to hold a meeting in Vienna next week.
It has been reported that a group of political movements and figures opposed to the Taliban will hold a meeting in Vienna, the capital of Austria, next week.
According to published reports, the Resistance Front, Freedom Front, Hezb-e Jamiat, and Wahdat-e Islami are among the participants of this meeting.
Approximately 70 political figures opposed to the Taliban from various political movements in Afghanistan are said to participate in this session.
It has also been stated that former government officials, university professors, civil activists, and media representatives have been invited to this meeting.
In the initial list of participants, names such as Ahmad Massoud, leader of the Resistance Front, Rangin Dadfar Spanta, former Foreign Minister, Rahmatullah Nabil, former Chief of National Security Directorate of Afghanistan, and Sima Samar, former head of the Human Rights Commission, are mentioned.
This meeting is scheduled just a week before the Third Doha Conference, a conference that political opponents of the Taliban oppose and have not been invited to.
